Install Instructions

The insulation is blown into the mid-floor cavity space by Approved Installers. Prior to installing the insulation, the Approved Installer will make small holes in the plasterboard covering the ceiling, the nozzle from the blow-in machine will then be inserted into these holes to completely fill the mid-floor space with insulation. Once the insulation is installed the Approved Installer will fill all the holes and ensure there is a smooth even surface, the final finishing touches will then be made as agreed with you prior to the work being carried out.

Alternatively, the Approved Installer will remove the lining and install a material veil (BIB) to the underside of the floor framing. The newly formed cavity is then completely filled with Jet Stream® MAX and Supafil® Frame, filling all gaps and voids and around pipework and wiring to ensure complete coverage. After installing the insulation an appropriate lining is applied.

Each process is quick and clean and will provide minimal disruption – it will be completed before you know it.

The installation of insulation will only be carried out once a full assessment of the suitability of the property and area to be insulated has been completed.
